In need of a fresh new look and flow, this beloved gourmet mushroom shop now encompasses both the aesthetic and functional attributes to lure in new customers. Updated display designs now replace the previously unstructured and cluttered shelving system. These new and efficient display cases now showcase their merchandise in a catalogued and pristine fashion. In addition, a new open layout of built-in cooling systems now replaces the formerly exposed walk-in refrigerator.

Inspired by the show, Boardwalk Empire, the shop’s interior transports its customers to a rustic store from the prohibition era. The distressed wood cabinetry and reclaimed wood paneling flock the black and brown color-blocked walls. A vintage library ladder glides along the towering casework of jarred mushrooms. On top of the checkout counter, a vintage brass cash register completes a shopper’s visit and sends them off satisfied and sure to visit again.
